    You know the drill. You install a new light, invite the in-laws over, and within 90 seconds someone says "it's too yellow in here" while someone else says "it's too cold, I feel like I'm in a morgue." You can't win. Until now.

    What is CCT?

    CCT stands for Correlated Color Temperature — basically, the shade of white the bulb gives off. It's measured in Kelvin (K). Lower number = warm and cozy. Higher number = bright and crisp. Same bulb, switch the setting, different atmosphere.

    Most CCT-switchable bulbs offer three options

    ≈ 3000 K Warm white

    Sunday dinner, living room, "the grandkids are visiting" light. Cozy, flattering, makes the pierogi look like they came from a magazine.

    ≈ 4000 K Neutral white

    Kitchen, hallway, bathroom mirror. The "I'm functioning" light. Good for reading labels, cooking, and spotting a smudge before guests arrive.

    Garage, workshop, utility room. The "where did I put that screwdriver" light. Crisp, focused, no-nonsense.

    How do you switch between the three?

    Depends on the bulb — check the product page for which of these three methods it uses.

    Wall switch

    Flip the normal light switch on-off-on to cycle through 3000 / 4000 / 6000 K. No extra hardware.

    Remote control

    Small RF remote that ships in the box. Set the shade from the sofa — no pairing, no app.

    Built-in selector

    A small switch on the bulb itself. Pick the shade once when you install — change any time.

    The mother-in-law will nod approvingly. That's the highest honor a light bulb can receive.
